Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA, Marcos Nhunga, invited the former leaders of the party to participate in the efforts aimed at the aggrandizement of the organization and the creation of policies that aim to respond to the wishes of the people.
The politician, who was speaking during a meeting aimed at exchanging views with former MPLA leaders in Malanje, said that former party cadres have not been forgotten, as they represent an important source of consultation on the steps to be taken for the organization to maintain the its flame in the region.
He stressed that Malanje has always been a bulwark of the MPLA, as a result of the engagement of its staff, despite having lost two deputies in the 2022 general elections, a situation that requires all militants to reflect on new procedures, with a view to rescuing hegemony.
Marcos Nhunga added that the current context requires more work to resolve the population’s problems.
Meanwhile, Albino Panzo and Maria Domingos, former members of the party, were satisfied with the organization’s initiative, considering that it contributes to reinforcing internal cohesion, inclusion and promotion of self-criticism, with a view to maintaining the invincibility of the MPLA in Malanje.
Former MPLA, JMPLA and OMA staff in Malanje participated in the meeting.
