Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the MPLA, Marcos Nhunga, announced Friday, the reinforcement of the performance evaluation process of public managers in the province, in favor of an efficient and exemplary management of public affairs.
The politician made this statement during the New Year’s greetings ceremony at the Provincial Committee of the MPLA, having warned office holders to be aligned with the current model of governance.
He said it was a governance model aimed at resolving the population’s problems and committed to policies based on dialogue and proximity to citizens.
This year, according to Marcos Nhunga, the party’s actions should also focus on the strict supervision of Public Investment Projects (PIP), Integrated Intervention Plan in Municipalities (PIIM), OGE (General State Budget) and other programs aimed at relaunching the productive sector and the diversification of the national economy.
For this reason, he exhorted the militants to assume themselves as true supervisors of the referred actions, arguing that the levels of execution of the same are what determine the evaluation of the party by the citizens.
On the other hand, he highlighted the continuous political and ideological formation of the militants as priorities for this year, with a view to creating conditions for the MPLA to overcome the challenges to come, in addition to the reorganization of the 3,200 Action Committees existing in the province.
Meanwhile, in a message from MPLA workers and cadres in Malanje, read by the second secretary of the Party’s Provincial Committee, Nelo de Carvalho, the militants undertook the commitment to work together to solve the people’s problems with rigor, discipline and a high patriotic spirit.
