Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the MPLA Committee in Uíge, Pedro Conga, asked, in the municipality of Bungo, Uíge province, the party’s militants to reinforce patriotic mobilization and national unity, to face and overcome the challenges of the future.
Pedro Conga, who was speaking at the opening of the commemorative days of the founding of the MPLA, which is celebrated on 10 December, said that the date should serve to reflect on the role of the MPLA in achieving the aspirations of Angolans.
During the intervention, the politician also defended the need for greater cohesion and unity in the party. He also reiterated the engagement of the provincial government in solving the problems of Education, Health, water supply and electricity, as well as supporting agricultural projects.
The opening of the days commemorating the founding of the MPLA was attended by members of the Executive Commission and the Provincial and Municipal committees of Bungo. For the date, lectures, reflection meetings, patriotic days, photographic exhibition, among other activities were scheduled.
