Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA will continue to count on the determination and commitment of women, in the transformation and resolution of the country’s main problems, said this Saturday, in the municipality of Cameia, the first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala.
According to the politician, who was speaking during a mass event in the village of Lumege, the struggle to resolve the problems that afflict the population and improve the lives of Angolans is the main challenge for the Executive supported by the MPLA.
In this way, he continued, the representation of women in the various sectors of political, economic and social life in the country will continue to be decisive.
He recognized OMA’s role in resolving the various problems that affect women, recommending innovative strategies to satisfy the concerns of those living in remote areas.
Ernesto Muangala reiterated that the MPLA is committed to fulfilling the electoral promises that fundamentally involve the rehabilitation of structural roads, expansion and improvement of the supply of electricity and drinking water, as well as the continuity of programs that aim to benefit the most needy families. .
As part of the political act held in the municipality of Cameia, which is approximately 105 kilometers from the province’s headquarters (Luena), with an estimated population of over 36,000 inhabitants (2014 census), representing four percent of the province’s population, a march of repudiation against domestic violence.
