Africa-Press – Angola. Fifty-nine field agents began, this Monday, the third phase of training on continuous investigation in the sectors of agriculture and fisheries (ICAPP), taking place until the 30th of this month, in the province of Namibe.

Opened by the local coordinator of ICAPP, Zonza Puissa, the event involves, in addition to Namibe, agents from the provinces of Huíla, Cunene and Benguela and aims to enable greater registration of families linked to the rural productive sector and respective production at the level of the five municipalities of the province.

The technician recognized that there are difficulties in this process, mainly due to the lack of scales in agricultural fields, and highlighted the importance of surveys to determine the quantity produced in each field in the family and business sectors.

This is also intended, he said, to allow more concrete and achievable policies to be drawn up for the well-being of communities.
