Africa-Press – Angola. The National Assembly (AN) holds on Friday (21), in Luanda, its 3rd Ordinary Plenary Meeting of the 3rd Legislative Session of the 5th Legislature, with emphasis on the discussion and voting of several draft resolutions.
According to a note from the AN, in the period before the main agenda, there will be a speech in honour to International Women’s Day. Then, the daily report for the 2nd Ordinary Plenary Meeting, held on Feb 20, 2025, will be considered and voted on.
Press has learnt that there will also be a discussion and a vote on the draft resolutions that approve, for ratification, the Protocol on the Facilitation of the Movement of People in the Southern African Development Community (SADC), as well as the Extradition Agreement between Angola and Zimbabwe and the 2022 International Coffee Agreement, between Angola and the International Coffee Organization.
Legislators will also discuss and vote on Angola’s entry to the Montreal Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Regulation of Air Carriage of 1992.
Finally, the request for authorization for the international double adoption of the minor Massimo Gabriel, as well as the request for authorization for the international single adoption of the minor Alexandre Ruth Rosa do Nascimento, will be on the table.
