Africa-Press – Angola. The 45th Sovereign of the Kingdom of Ndongo, aged 68, will be officially presented on Wednesday (8), in the commune of Dala Samba, municipality of Marimba, to the government, religious and traditional authorities, during a ceremony to be guided by members of the Royal Court.
The new Sovereign was enthroned on September 16th, one day after the burial of his predecessor, King Buba Nvula Dalamana “Cabombo”.
The information was provided Tuesday, by the Court’s spokesperson, Adelino Ngunza, who said that the new King, whose name will be revealed on the day of the presentation, focuses on bringing together the people of the Ndongo region, strengthening the partnership with the State and advocate with the government to boost agriculture, aiming to combat hunger and poverty.
The new sovereign’s lines of force also include exerting influence with the central power for the construction of the memorial to the sovereigns of Ndongo and the court of the reign, as well as the asphalting of the access roads from the city of Malanje to the municipalities that make up that region, aiming to promote local development.
Died on September 8th of this year, Buba Nvula Dalamana “Cabombo” was the 44th King of Ndongo, with the title of King Ngola Kiluanje Kya Samba and was born on January 1st, 1922, in the municipality of Massango.
During his reign, he guided and appointed, with the support of the “Royal Court”, the guardians who take care of the tombs of the ancestors Ngola Kiluanje and Queen Nginga Mbande, buried in the village of Muculo-a-Ngola, in the municipality of Marimba (210 kilometers away). North of the city of Malanje).
The king left behind seven wives, 45 children and 150 grandchildren.
