Africa-Press – Angola. Fourteen lawyers, including 13 interns, received their professional certificates this Monday, equipping them with the conditions to practice their profession.
During the delivery of the documents, the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic in Malanje, Francisca Rasgado, praised the good relationship with the justice administration bodies and called on the beneficiaries to perform their duties with humility, respect and sacrifice, with a view to to safeguard the good name of the profession.
He pointed out that law entails numerous responsibilities in guaranteeing the Constitution of the Republic, the Rule of Law and the Safeguard of Democracy, taking into account the triple responsibility between the lawyer, prosecutor and judge.
The OAA defrost in Malanje, Marcos Gabriel, asked lawyers to act urbanely within statutory parameters, always respecting professional ethics and deontology.
He guaranteed that permanent lawyers and interns will assist citizens who lack the economic means to bear the procedural costs, through sponsorship and assistance that the order offers free of charge.
Marcos Gabriel praised private higher education institutions based in the province of Malanje for their contribution to the training of law students.
Currently, the OAA in Malanje has 69 lawyers, including staff and interns.
