Africa-Press – Angola. The second commander for Public Order of the National Police (PN) in Lunda Sul, Manuel Lopes, encouraged the corporation’s staff in the region to engage in approaching citizens and in proximity patrolling.

Manuel Lopes was speaking this Friday at the opening of a seminar attended by 45 PN agents and which is addressing, among other topics, reaction to shots, as well as pedestrian patrolling.

On the occasion, the PN official said that the success of the missions depends on the preparation, discipline, observance of the law, morality and impartiality of the troops.

For 15 days, trainees will improve techniques on police confrontation, shooting practice, police reaction, handling detainees and managing emotions.

The training action is the third carried out by the Provincial Command of the National Police of Lunda Sul, in less than a month.
