Despite the observed increase, production levels did not reach the forecast of 1,067 million barrels of oil/day (BOPD), having obtained a daily average of 969,64 thousand (BOPD), below the February results.

In February of this year, according to data published by the National Concessionaire, the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), oil production in Angola was 29.78 million barrels, with a daily average of 1.063 million barrels. of oil (BOPD) against 1 142 million predicted.

In the first three months of this year, Angola exported 86.92 million barrels of crude oil, at a weighted average price of USD 78.711 for a global value of USD 6.92 billion.

OPEC basket price _

The price of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) basket of thirteen crudes stood at USD 78.40 per barrel last Thursday, compared to USD 81.12 on Wednesday.

According to calculations by the OPEC Secretariat published on Friday, the price fell by USD 2.72.

The OPEC Benchmark Crude Basket (ORB) comprises Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran) .

Ax Basrah Medium (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela), also make up the OPEC Basket.
