Africa-Press – Angola. Approximately 150 OMA activists in Bié, from the province’s nine municipalities, participated Friday, in the city of Cuito, in the II generational meeting, which aimed to debate various issues related to the organization, in this part of the country.
Held within the framework of the “March – Woman” activities, the event also aimed to promote dialogue and sharing of knowledge between the various generations, in order to contribute to a more cohesive and stronger organization, to better face the challenges that arise. are approaching.
The II generational meeting, which took place under the motto “Angolan woman, participation, inclusion and development”, was attended by the first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, former activists and leaders of this organization, members of the provincial committee among other guests.
The provincial secretary of OMA, Maria Moura, highlighted that the debates will allow the exchange of experience between the old and new generations and, consequently, boost the actions of the MPLA women’s organization in the region.
Meanwhile, the first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, reaffirmed the commitment to academic, professional and political training among OMA activists, to strengthen the organization, as well as better understand the party’s challenges for the country.
The first generational meeting took place in March last year.
