The information was released this Friday, in Saurimo, by the coordinator of the monitoring committee for the Provincial Services of the Ombudsman’s Office, Makaia José, after a meeting with the vice-governor of Lunda-Sul for Technical and Infrastructure Services. structures, Cláudio Pemessa.
Speaking to the press, he explained that the installation of the Ombudsman’s Office service in the province was discussed at the meeting and is expected to be completed “soon”.
He stressed that he was informed by the local government that the process for its implementation is progressing at a good pace and will be delivered on the appropriate date.
Makaia José said that with the installation of this body in Lunda-Sul it will make it easier to publicize the role of the institution and bring about permanent dialogue with citizens in the region.
For two days, the coordinator of the monitoring committee for the Provincial Services of the Ombudsman’s Office will visit educational establishments and health centers to find out about the working conditions of teachers and health technicians, as well as assess students’ concerns. and patients.
The program also includes a trip to the municipality of Cacolo, where there will be a lecture on “The role and function of the Ombudsman in defending the Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees of Citizens”.
