Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy ombudsman, Aguinaldo Guedes da Costa Cristóvão, defended, on Wednesday, in Lubango, the need to install a representation in Huíla, to better meet the concerns of citizens with dignity.

Speaking to the press, after hearings for members of civil society, as part of his three-day working visit to the province, the magistrate considered that only with physical presence is it possible to respond to concerns of various kinds, depending on population density. of more than three million inhabitants.

A representation of the body, according to the person responsible, will allow all issues inherent to the fundamental rights, freedoms and guarantees of citizens to be addressed and to pay greater attention to aspects linked to illegality in local administration.

He expressed satisfaction with the work carried out in the province of Huíla, particularly in the shelter centers for helpless children, as well as the Integrated Citizen Support Center and the Lubango prison penitentiary.
