Africa-Press – Angola. One hundred and 50 companies from the production and service sector are present at the fair celebrating the 50th anniversary of the rise of Soyo, Zaire province, to the category of city, to be celebrated next Friday.

Participating in the event, which takes place in the square adjacent to the 11-a-side football field in the TGFA neighborhood, are companies from the agricultural, fishing, industrial, hotel and tourism, insurance, among other sectors.

The municipality of Nzeto is the only one of the five in the province of Zaire that is present at this event that ends on the 13th of this month, with an exhibition of agricultural and fisheries products.

ENSA Seguros de Angola is also present at the event with a range of around 30 products and services, as its resident manager, José Marta João, announced.

He referred to mass and individual insurance, automobile, health, occupational accidents and civil liability.

“There is a lot of interest in our products and services from users, so we believe that we will leave here with many contracts signed,” he said.

Joaquim Ngambuila, representative of a fire prevention company, said he was exhibiting a variety of firefighting material, including foam, cones and full firefighters’ suits.

He explained that in addition to fire-fighting materials, his company is also dedicated to training firefighters or operational personnel in the field.

Alexandre Caio, who represents an agricultural cooperative in the municipality of Nzeto, said he brought banana bread, eggplant, reindeer potatoes, soybeans and others to this fair celebrating 50 years of the city of Soyo.

In addition to the fair, the day celebrating the 50th anniversary of the city of Soyo includes several activities, with emphasis on the campaign to clean and beautify the city’s arteries.
