Africa-Press – Angola. The “Paulo Teixeira Jorge” International Airport, in Catumbela, province of Benguela, will be certified in the first quarter of 2024, guarantees the Minister of Transport, Ricardo D’Abreu.
Speaking to Rádio Nacional, Ricardo D’Abreu stated that the “Paulo Teixeira Jorge” International Airport will be duly certified and prepared to respond to passengers’ needs.
“The teams are working and for this reason we need to have our services and infrastructure available to the economy.”
The minister also mentioned that the airport plays a fundamental role and guarantees, from Catumbela, not only connections for passenger flights, but also for cargo.
Catumbela Airport expects to receive more than two million passengers annually.
