Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda’s senior men’s basketball team beat Vila Clotilde, Tuesday, at the Cidadela pavilion, by 102-66, in the second game of the semi-final in “play-offs”, the best of five.
Tonight’s triumph brings Petro closer to the final. Just win the next challenge.
Damian Hollis, the American at the service of the “tricolor” emblem, was in the spotlight yesterday with 21 points, three assists and two rebounds.
In the first match, played last Sunday, Petro also won by 129-74, with Carlos Morais in great shape, with 21 points scored.
The third game is scheduled for next Thursday and, in case of victory, the team will qualify for the final with the winner of the play-off between 1o de Agosto and Interclube.
