Africa-Press – Angola. The role played by the media in disseminating and guaranteeing information to the population was highlighted today, Friday, by the head of the institutional communication and press department of the National Police in Uíge, superintendent Freitas Zama.
At the end of the visit to the facilities of the provincial delegation of press, within the framework of the celebration of the 47th anniversary of the PN which is celebrated on the 28th of this month, the official considered the work carried out by the local media to be positive, transmitting with zeal and dedication the facts occurred in the region.
The improvement of working conditions and installations were also highlighted, bets that will help the media to develop their activities.
During the visit, the corporation’s staff, headed by the second provincial commander for public order, sub-commissioner Alberto Benedito, toured the various premises of the company at length, having received detailed information from the local delegate, Jaime Reais, about its operation.
Members of the Consultative Council of the Provincial Command, department heads, officers and agents were part of the National Police delegation.
With the same purpose, the staff also visited the delegations of Public Public Television (TPA), Jornal de Angola and the provincial broadcaster of Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
Blood donation to the Provincial Hospital of Uíge, lectures, visits to companies and public places were carried out by the Provincial Command of the National Police in Uíge, to salute the 47 years of the creation of the corporation.
