Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-eight citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were questioned on Monday by the Border Guard Police in Zaire province, for attempting to enter the country illegally.
The group comprises 23 women and five men, according to a note from the Provincial Command of Zaire’s National Police that arrived Tuesday, in Mbanza Kongo.
The aforementioned illegal immigrants, adds the document, were questioned in the border commune of Luvo, 60 km north of the city of Mbanza Kongo.
He also refers that they intended to reach the city of Mbanza Kongo, and then proceed to the country’s capital, Luanda.
After operative registration, said citizens were forwarded to the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) for their repatriation.
