Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Norte, Pedro Makita Júlia, urged citizens on Saturday, in the city of Ndalatando, to refrain from initiatives that disturb public peace, order and tranquility.

Speaking at the end of the march in support of President João Lourenço’s leadership, the politician appealed for harmony among citizens and ruled out possible rivalries that promote disunity among Angolans.

Cohesion among MPLA activists, he stressed, is the ideal path to strengthening support for the party president, to achieving victories in electoral disputes and in the national development program.

For him, united Angolans will be able to develop the country.

Pedro Makita highlighted the President of the Republic’s initiatives aimed at promoting peace, cohesion and national development aimed at improving the living conditions of Angolans.

The event took place from the school square (Ndalatando) to the MPLA Provincial Committee and was attended by activists from various municipalities in the province.
