Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, attended this Thursday, in Luanda, as guest of honor, the awards ceremony for the 10th edition of the Sirius Awards.
The Sirius Awards are created by the international consultancy Deloitte to distinguish excellence in business performance and management in the Angolan market.
For this edition, the highlight was the Carrinho business group, which won two of the seven categories of the competition.
These are the Social Responsibility and Manager of the Year awards, for 2023, awarded to the president of the Executive Board of Carrinho, David Maciel.
In addition to these categories, the Financial Sector Company of the Year category, Non-Financial Sector Company of the Year, Digital and Technological Development Program, Entrepreneurship and Human Capital Development category were also included.
The prizes in the respective categories were awarded to Banco de Investimento Angolano (BAI), Sonangol, Banco Nacional de Angola (BNA), NARISREC and the Casais group.
