Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, was invited, this Wednesday, by President Volodymyr Zelensky, to participate in the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, scheduled for the 15th and 16th of June, in the Swiss city of Bürgenstock.
The Head of State thanked the Ukrainian President for the invitation, but for calendar reasons he was unable to participate.
In the telephone conversation in which the invitation was formulated, President João Lourenço reaffirmed the position of the Republic of Angola on the conflict, which pits Russia against Ukraine, and defends the search for a peaceful and lasting solution.
