Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, said this Monday in Luanda that “African countries must accelerate the diversification of their economies and make the most of oil revenues for the industrialization of the continent”.
Speaking at the opening of the 8th edition of the Congress of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers (APPO) , which runs from today until the 19th, the Angolan Head of State also stressed that energy resources will continue to play a prominent role in economies.
In his speech, the President of the Republic highlighted the oil reforms underway in Angola since 2018, also highlighting the refinery projects in Luanda, Cabinda, Soyo and Lobito, with the aim of increasing the production of refined products.
