Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, congratulated, this Tuesday, the people and the Government of Cape Verde on the occasion of the forty-seventh anniversary of the National Independence of that island country, which is being marked.
In a message addressed to President José Maria Neves, João Lourenço said that he was pleased to see that Cape Verde is celebrating another anniversary with a record of relevant achievements in the economic and social sphere, a fact that places that nation – he writes – in the prestigious ranks of countries successful Africans on the road to building progress and development.
Finally, President João Lourenço also stresses the conviction that the common efforts that “we have been making towards the continuous strengthening of bilateral cooperation ties will contribute to the successful implementation of all the initiatives we have proposed carry forward”, for the benefit of the progress and well-being of the respective peoples.
