Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, yesterday congratulated the French people and Government on the celebration of the National Festival of that European country, the 14th of July.
In a message addressed to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, the Angolan Head of State highlights “the central position that France has occupied throughout the history of building the current world system, in which democracy and people’s freedom are defended”.
This position, says President João Lourenço, “makes the French Republic an unavoidable actor at the heart of the main themes of global impact”. In the letter, the Angolan President underlines the high level of relations that characterizes the two countries and reiterates to strengthen exchanges between the key sectors of the economies of the two countries .
