The president of the Parliamentary Forum of the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region (FP-ICGLR), Nelly Mutti, arrived in Luanda this Sunday for the 15th Plenary Assembly of the interparliamentary organization, which Angola will host from the 20th to the 25th of this month.According to the organization, the meeting aims, among other things, to analyze the political, security and humanitarian situation in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), approve reports from the standing committees and appoint the new Secretary-General of the Forum.
This is a rotating organization among the member parliaments and, at this time, Angola is responsible for hosting and organizing the plenary session.
