Africa-Press – Angola. The Amnesty Law Proposal was approved, in general this Thursday, by the deputies of the National Assembly, by 113 votes in favour, zero votes against and 83 abstentions.
The diploma, which will be approved in the specialty, is an initiative of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and only covers crimes committed in recent years.
The Executive approved, on the 8th of the current month, the Amnesty Law Proposal, for common or military crimes with prison sentences of up to 10 years, committed by nationals or foreigners in the last seven years, except embezzlement and money laundering.
