Africa-Press – Angola. Managers of public institutions in the province of Moxico attended, this Thursday, in the city of Luena, knowledge about elements and structures of the National Development Plan (PDN) and the rules for implementing the General State Budget (OGE).

During a training seminar, promoted by the provincial finance delegation, the cycles of the Public Investment Program (PIP) and the Execution of Public Contracts (ECP) were also outlined.

At the workshop, the provincial delegate for Finance in Moxico, António da Conceição Manuel, said that the training aimed to share instructions for preparing the 2024 OGE.

For the next OGE, he said that actions that correspond to the province’s expectations are expected.

“We must prioritize efficiency and look at the priorities that compete with the population’s desire”, stressed the official.

In turn, the vice-governor for the Political, Economic and Social sector, Victor da Silva, called for the need to respect the rules for drawing up the OGE, with a view to drawing up a budget suited to the needs of the province.

The province of Moxico has an estimated population of one million inhabitants, distributed in nine municipalities, namely, Alto Zambeze, Bundas, Camanongue, Cameia, Léua, Luau, Luacano, Luchazes and Moxico.

The General State Budget for 2023 for the province of Moxico is set at more than 122 billion kwanzas.
