Local Governor admitted that the local provincial government alone will not be able to achieve the desired development in various social and economic areas, hence the need for cooperation with other partners.

José Carvalho da Rocha also stated that the local provincial government wants to have the presence of Chinese companies in the region, a commitment he considers essential for developing a commercial project on the border between Angola and the DRC (Kimbata), in the municipality of Maquela do Zombo.
He also admitted that the Uíge Provincial Government alone will not be able to achieve the desired development in various social and economic areas, hence the need for cooperation with other countries.
“We always need the support of those willing to work hard with us so that we can develop various projects that generate development, as well as increase human capital in the region,” the governor said.
