Africa-Press – Angola. The personnel of the Cabinda Military Region (RMC) of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) were urged, this Monday, in this city, to remain firm and vigilant, with a view to frustrating any attempt at destabilization.
According to the head of the National Logistics Directorate of the General Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Carlos Tchivanda, readiness must come first, as much has been done to maintain the country’s territorial integrity.
The FAA general officer who made the statement during the celebration of the corporation’s 32nd anniversary, celebrated also highlighted the safety of the populations in the province.
He pointed out the need for the defense forces to remain firm and vigilant in their work stations and defensive lines with a view to frustrating any attempted armed banditry that may occur.
He also mentioned that the FAA are the bulwark in the defense of national independence, territorial integrity, democratic institutions of the State, maintenance of Peace and national stability.
He also highlighted that the Angolan Armed Forces continue to ensure the training of men, techniques and infrastructures and participate in joint and combined exercises, developing activities of public interest, especially in the nation’s moral reserve, occupying the first trench in the moralization of society.
