Secretary of State predicts around 500 companies at Expo-Indústria 2024

Africa-Press – Angola. The Secretary of State for Industry, Ivan do Prado, foresees an increase in the participation of companies, in the order of five hundred exhibitors, in the next edition of the 6th Expo-Industry/2024.

In this 5th edition of Expo-Indústria/2023, 238 national and foreign exhibitors are participating, with Angolan companies standing out in the sectors of agribusiness, handicrafts, banking and insurance, trade and distribution, civil construction, industry and oil and gas.

The person in charge left this intention, at the end of the gala awarding the best industrialists who exhibited at the 5th edition of Expo-Indústria, in the Special Economic Zone, in Luanda, where he also indicated that the intention is, in the next event, to have a greater representation of the food sector, since the Executive is focused on food self-sufficiency.

The Secretary of State underlined that the Executive works to achieve food self-sufficiency because no country is sovereign if it depends 100% on the export of its food, which is why there are several programs in execution linked to the food sector.
