Africa-Press – Angola. Proximity policing is the model adopted by the National Police to guarantee, with greater effectiveness, this year, the increase in the feeling of security among the population, said the corporation commander in Cuanza Norte, António Neto.
The official made this statement, on Sunday, in Ndalatando, at the end of a football match that pitted personnel from the Cuanza Norte Provincial Command of the National Police against young people from the Kitata neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city of Ndalatando.
He assured that the corporation will continue to work with communities, in order to assess the main concerns and respond to immediate needs, especially in some neighborhoods where the crime rate tends to increase.
The match, in which the police won 2-0, is part of the corporation’s action program, which aims to bring the police closer to the citizen.
The game was followed by a celebration.
