Africa-Press – Angola. Serbian businesspeople will be able to visit the province of Moxico within 15 days, to capture investment areas in this part of the national territory, the Serbian ambassador to Angola, Milos Perisic, announced this Tuesday in Luena.
According to the diploma, which he spoke to the press at the end of a two-day working visit carried out in the province of Moxico, this group of businessmen is interested in the areas of honey production, cereals, continental fishing, as well as exploration and wood processing.
“Serbia has rich experience in honey production, and offers to provide technical assistance to local producers, to maximize this activity”, he said.
Milos Perisic considered that the province of Moxico, with an area of 223 thousand 23 square kilometers, offers various agricultural potential, having invited the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry to visit Serbia, with a view to establishing partnerships with businesspeople from that European country.
On the occasion, the president of the Moxico Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agrione Manuel, requested investment partnerships for equipment in the agricultural, health and education sectors.
Speaking during a meeting between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moxico and the Serbian ambassador, Agrione Manuel said that investment in these sectors, mainly agriculture, will be an added value for the production and transformation of agricultural products in large quantities.
Angola and Serbia established political-diplomatic and cooperative, technical-scientific and cultural relations in 1977.
