Africa-Press – Angola. The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) dismantled today, Friday, in the municipality of Humpata, province of Huíla, a farm that contained 52 thousand, 165 kg of liamba, allegedly belonging to a 31-year-old citizen, already detained.
This is an operation carried out in the Bongolo sector, in the Bata-Bata commune, as part of criminal prevention that also allowed the seizure of three thousand 150 cannabis plants, in a space of more than two hectares, according to what was revealed In this city, the SIC spokesperson, in Huíla, inspector Segunda Quitumba, spoke to the press in this city.
Speaking during the presentation of eight “dangerous” criminals, the National Police officer highlighted that the suspect, after production, sells the drug in the provinces of Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Luanda.
“The dismantling of this drug production was only possible as a result of a complaint from residents of that location, triggering an operation that involved 25 employees of the corporation, 23 from Lubango and two from Humpata”, he said.
He made it known that the supposed owner of the farm will be brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) to regularize his prison situation.
He also highlighted the arrest of three national citizens in possession of 1,200 fake US dollars and another 2,943 films produced in Luanda, to be easily placed on the Huíla market.
He also revealed the arrest of four other national citizens involved in the crimes of qualified homicide, sexual assault with penetration against his niece and serious offenses.
