Africa-Press – Angola. The Simione Mukune school complex won this Saturday, the category of means of teaching and innovation in the 2nd edition of the education fair, in the municipality of Ombadja, Cunene.
The event, which took place from the 22nd to the 25th of the current month, hosted 60 exhibitors from 20 educational institutions and 18 individual exhibitors.
For the winners of that category, the organization of the event awarded a laptop computer and a certificate of participation as a prize.
In the art, science and technology category, the Escolar de Calueque complex won, occupying the second position, followed by “Ombala Yo Mungo”, in the category of gastronomy and entrepreneurship.
On the occasion, the administrator of Ombadja, Elisabeth Mwamelungi, said that the fair aimed to promote a fruitful dialogue between education and social partners, openly and constructively discussing issues related to the main challenges that go beyond education.
For the person in charge, the event also made it possible to encourage the production of teaching resources in areas of pedagogical influence at municipal level.
On the same occasion, the provincial director of Education in Cunene, Domingos de Oliveira, said that the education, science, technology and arts fair represents the maximum expression of what schools have been doing to show society what is being done around of teaching and education.
He praised the initiative for allowing different schools to share knowledge and different experiences, within the framework of improving the education system in the region.
The event took place under the motto “For an Inclusive, Creative and Dynamic Education We Promote Quality in the Teaching-Learning Process”.
