Solidarity game ends CNJ donation campaign

Africa-Press – Angola. A solidarity basketball match, between friends of Miguel Lutonda and Edmar Vitoriano “Baduna”, concluded this Sunday, in Luanda, the campaign to collect donations to support flood victims in the province of Bengo.

On the initiative of the National Youth Council (CNJ), the match took place at the Codeme Pavilion and ended with the victory of Baduna’s friends (98 points). Lutonda’s friends had 84 points.

During halftime of the game, the audience was treated to a performance by Projecto

The match’s MVP was former basketball player Baduna and best scorer was Miguel Lutonda, who received certificates and a painting.

The winning team received a cup from the hands of the president of the CNJ, Isaías Kalunga.

In the end, certificates of merit were awarded to 1° D’Agosto, Royal Seguros, Projecto X, Paulo X, Power Energy, among others, for supporting the donation campaign, which began on April 20th.

Speaking to the press, Isaías Kalunga revealed that the donation will be delivered in the coming days to the province of Bengo, to help the victims of the floods.

“Today was the official end of the campaign, but those who want to help, with something, can still reach out,” he explained.
