In January 2023, Angola exported 32.05 million barrels at an average price of USD 78.99, according to data published by the Directorate of Special Taxation of the General Tax Administration (AGT).

The statistics refer to tax returns provided by oil companies, including the National Concessionaire, the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), which appears in the table with revenues of around 295.07 billion kwanzas.

Other revenues are linked to the Petroleum Production Tax (IPP), Petroleum Transaction Tax (ITP) and Petroleum Income Tax (IRP).

Of the oil blocks, Block 17 had the highest performance with 11.5 million barrels, followed by Block 32, with 4.9 million barrels and Block 15, appearing in third position with 3.4 million barrels.

For this economic year of 2023, the OGE proposal has a reference price of USD 75 per barrel of oil, and an average daily oil production of 1.18 million barrels.
