Africa-Press – Angola. The national flag company – TAAG announced this Tuesday the increase in flights on the routes Namibia, Republic of Congo (Ponta Negra), São Tomé and Príncipe and Mozambique (Maputo), from December 11th.

According to a statement from TAAG, the company has observed a growth in market demand, with preferential routes for the corporate segment, leisure destinations and traffic originating from the Portuguese language, in the specific case of Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP) .

According to the document, the update of new frequencies with departures from Luanda – Windhoek (Namibia) will now have daily flights, with the second frequency having flights on Mondays and Fridays, on the Luanda-Ponta-Negra connection. (Congo Republic).

São Tomé will now have two frequencies introduced on Monday and Friday, while Maputo will have five flight frequencies on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

The note also highlights that at a domestic level, there will be an increase in frequencies to the city of Lubango, province of Huíla, from December 11th, with bi-daily flights on Thursdays, totaling 9 weekly frequencies.
