The chairman of the Noble SA Group, Nazim Charania, was received in Luanda by the head of Angolan diplomacy, Téte António, as part of the economic diplomacy.At the courtesy meeting held at the Angolan diplomatic headquarters, attended by the company’s CEO, Sudeep Mohanty, Nazim Charania spoke about the projects implemented in Angola and the valuable contribution they have made to the growth of the national economy. In Angola, the Noble SA Group owns the “Nossa Casa” real estate chain, the “Freshmart and Angomart” supermarkets and the first alcohol gel factory produced in Angola, according to a note from MIREX. The note also highlights that Indian businesspeople have shown increasing interest in investing in the country, especially in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Lunda-Sul and Namibe. Sectors such as agriculture, food processing, health and mining have attracted investment from Indian businesspeople, with emphasis on projects that aim to contribute to the growth of the national economy and the generation of jobs. Around 10 thousand Indians live in Angola.
