Africa-Press – Angola. The minister of Industry and Commerce, Victor Fernandes, assured, Wednesday, in Luanda, that the “country’s food stock is under control”, despite fluctuations in the prices of the main products on the international market.
“The Angolan Executive anticipated the issue of food supply, and the operators are very experienced and are perfectly framed in the dynamics of international trade”, he said in statements to journalists, on the sidelines of the I Forum on International Trade.
Victor Fernandes also informed that the country continues to work on the basis of international trade agreements, that is, it is not restricting imports, but defending national production within the framework of economic diversification.
