Africa-Press – Angola. Practical aspects, embodied in the execution of services, positioning of players on the courts, marked (Thursday), in Luanda, the second day of the training course for tennis coaches, which takes place at the Kikuxi Villas Club Academy, in Viana.
In addition to the aforementioned improvements, in the day’s session, the two Israeli experts also focused their lectures on teaching technical and tactical game systems to the twenty (20) participating national coaches.
In practical classes, coaches from different provinces of the country perform exercises with Angolan tennis players from the Under-14 categories, always accompanied by foreign experts, who make the necessary corrections.
Promoted by the Angolan Tennis Federation (FAT) in partnership with Kikuxi Villas Club (KVC), the update ends on Saturday. As for the foreign advisors, they are Schachar Gat and Nimrod Barak, Israeli technicians, supported by the company KAYA Cuidando do Planeta e das Pessoas Lda.
On the other hand, the first edition of the Tennis Open, on clay, alluding to the National Hero, will be played, from Friday, on the courts of the Kikuxi Villas Club Academy, for seniors, both sexes, until the 1st next October.
The event on this floor will feature representatives from the provinces of Luanda, Huíla, Namibe, Benguela and Lunda-Norte, with around 50 tennis players, also an organization of the Academy and FAT.
