Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Lunda Norte, Francisco Kakoma, called this Saturday for the strengthening of dialogue with the various sectors of civil society, with a view to finding viable solutions to solve the country’s socio-economic problems.
The official made this appeal during the mass act that marked the 21st anniversary of the death of Jonas Savimbi (February 22nd), underlining that political and/or partisan convictions should not condition the sustainable development of the country.
On the other hand, he called for the strengthening of unity and reconciliation among Angolans, as well as the preservation of peace.
He asked the militants to be more engaged in actions to mobilize and recruit new militants, in view of the political challenges.
He said that his party’s challenge is, in addition to the 2027 general elections, to win local authorities, if they are implemented in this five-year period.
