Africa-Press – Angola. The UNITA Parliamentary Group encouraged investments in valuing and dignifying former combatants and veterans of the motherland, in a note on the occasion of the Day for the Expansion of the Armed Struggle, which is being celebrated yesterday.
In the document, that political force underlines the fact that Angola owes national independence, peace and freedom to this fringe.
“It is a fundamental task of the State to create and guarantee the economic, social and cultural rights of citizens, to promote well-being and raise quality”, says the note.
On the occasion of the Day for the Expansion of the Armed Struggle, the note continues, the Parliamentary Group of UNITA pays homage to all the nationalists who gave their best for the freedom of Angolans.
On March 15, 1961, Angolan patriots took up arms, embodying the expansion of the struggle for Independence, for the freedom and dignity of Angolans.
