Africa-Press – Angola. Since Thursday, UNITA in the province of Huambo has had new municipal secretaries from Ecunha, Londuimbali and Mungo, recently appointed, as part of the reform of basic structures and boosting political activities.
These are Eduardo Albino (Ecunha), Ângelo da Silva Moma (Londuimbali) and Anás Chinjongo Luyele, sworn in by the secretary of UNITA in the province of Huambo, Apollo Pedro Felino Yakuvela, during the 1st meeting of the Executive of the Provincial Committee of this political formation.
During the meeting, held in the municipality of Bailundo, whose headquarters are 75 kilometers from the center of the city of Huambo, the deputy municipal secretaries of Caála, Cachiungo, Chicala-Cholohanga, Huambo and Ucuma were also sworn in.
On the occasion, the UNITA secretary in Huambo called for greater work and dedication to ensure greater speed for the party “machine”, aiming for the next challenges.
The meeting aimed, among other objectives, to assess the degree of compliance with the guidelines issued by the last Deliberative Body, the Provincial Committee, and to share UNITA’s vision with citizens, both from a municipal point of view and from a general governance point of view.
