Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of UNITA in the province of Cunene, Torga Pangeiko, considered this Saturday, in Ondjiva, the implementation of local authorities as a determining factor for the deepening of democracy and sustainable development in Angola.

When intervening in the mass political event, preceded by a march that marked the celebrations of the 58th anniversary of the founding of that party, celebrated on the 13th of this month, he added that the implementation of local authorities will improve the living conditions of Angolans.

Along with the local authorities, the politician also pointed out the need to improve the quality of life of citizens and the completion of the process of inserting ex-combatants into the Social Security Fund of the Angolan Armed Forces as other challenges for the Angolan Government, which can count on the contribution of all fringes of society.

Therefore, Torga Pangeiko assured that his party reaffirms its determination to join efforts with society, for the institutionalization of local authorities in the country.

Additionally, the person responsible also highlighted the need to prioritize the completion of unfinished works, as well as to focus on promoting agriculture, to relaunch the agro-industry.
