Africa-Press – Angola. The president of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, reiterated Tuesday, in Huambo, the commitment of this political formation to continue to dialogue with government authorities on the challenges and solutions for the country’s development.
The party member, who was speaking to the press, after being received in an audience by the governor of Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, said that the innumerable challenges of promoting the development and well-being of Angolans require the combination of efforts in sharing strategies and a vision of the future, in the perspective of a better Angola.
Adalberto Costa Júnior said that this was UNITA’s strategy, as one of the parties with greater responsibilities in the country’s construction process, after the achievement of peace, hence the reason for continuing to show its maturity in promoting a constructive dialogue with government structures and the other bodies of society.
“We Angolans have to learn to work together for the country, despite the political diversity, as well as guarantee complementarity for the good and interest of Angolans”, he concluded.
In Huambo since Monday for a five-day working day, after the meeting with the governor, the UNITA leader met, separately, with representatives of the Catholic, Evangelical Congregational in Angola (IECA) and Adventist do Seventh day.
He then went to the municipality of Bailundo, where he held a meeting with the local authorities and guided a mass political act, in addition to meeting with members of civil society in the district.
Over the next three days, he will carry out activities in the municipalities of Caála, Cachiungo, Chinjenje and Ucuma.
