Africa-Press – Angola. Members of the Revolutionary United Youth of Angola (JURA) in Cunene province were, this Thursday, exhorted to adhere to party discipline and respect for differences, with a view to strengthening democracy.
The appeal was made by the provincial secretary of Unita in Cunene, Turga Pangeiko, on the sidelines of the provincial preparatory conference for the V JURA ordinary congress, to be held from 15 to 17 of the current month under the motto “innovate and mobilize to win”.
On the occasion, the leader asked the members of Unita’s youth organization, in addition to respect for differences, to also be guided by values of solidarity, patriotism, honesty, cordiality.
He asked for the active participation of the militants, warning them to prioritize participatory democracy, a spirit of cohesion, internal order and discipline.
On the occasion, the secretary of Jura in Cunene, Zacarias Pesse, said that the event brings together 84 delegates from the municipalities of the province, with the exception of Curoca, to elect 20 delegates to the V Congress.
The event had the participation of the national secretary for mobilization of JURA, Barreto Joaquim.
