Africa-Press – Angola. The US ambassador to Angola, Tuhinebo Mushingi, said Wednesday (20), in Benguela, that Angola continues to take “significant steps” in all aspects, with a view to ensuring progress and stability.
Speaking to the press, after witnessing the inauguration ceremonies of the first photovoltaic plants in Baía Farta and Biópio, Tuhinebo Mushingi guaranteed that the US will continue to support Angolan economic and social growth.
When considering the Angolan Government a strategic partner of the USA, Tuhinebo Mushingi indicated that the start-up of the two social enterprises constitute an example for Africa and the world.
Angola has been making efforts to open up a better business environment and attract a greater volume of foreign investment, to leverage its sustainable economic growth, said the diplomat.
For the US ambassador, the two solar projects capable of producing clean, quality energy will have a positive impact on the quality of life of Angolan families, as they are accessible and generate development in the communities.
