Africa-Press – Angola. The vice-president of the MPLA, Luisa Damião, appealed, this Friday, in Luanda, to society to resort to reporting in cases of violence.

Luisa Damião made this appeal during Va. Ordinary Meeting of the National Committee of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA).

“We must increasingly increase the culture of reporting, because if people don’t report cases of violence, no one knows about them and we cannot find a solution to these cases”, he stressed.

Press Online also found that the vice-president of the MPLA declared that “at certain times silence works as an accomplice to violence itself and the whole of society needs to be engaged” to combat impunity.
