Africa-Press – Angola. The ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Duong Chinh Chuc, today considered Malanje as an ideal region to establish cooperation and exchange relationships with the provinces of his country, given its important role in food security and socio-economic development of Angola.

Without advancing the number of provinces that intend to propose relations with Malanje, the diplomat, who was speaking at the end of a meeting with the deputy governor for the Political, Economic and Social Sector, Franco Mufinda, said he hopes that local authorities will express interest and create opportunities for mutual development.

He pointed out that Vietnam has several advantages that can be combined with Angola in general and Malanje in particular for the development of both peoples, taking into account their experiences and capabilities in various areas, including agriculture, industry and mineral exploration.

He understands that Malanje, as a region with countless mineral resources and considered an important agricultural and animal production center in the country, should deserve more investment for its progression.

On the occasion, vice-governor Franco Mufinda said that after the proclamation of National Independence, Vietnam has always been at Angola’s side, acting in the areas of health, civil construction, industry and agriculture.
