Africa-Press – Angola. The winner of the Unitel Estrelas ao Palco competition, 2025 edition, Agostinho Capita (Príncipe Zuadas), was received this Friday in the city of Cuito by the acting governor of Bié, José Fernando Tchatuvela.
In the courtesy meeting, the musician, who was greeted by a crowd that gathered at Joaquim Kapango Airport, thanked the local population for all the support given during the gala.
Príncipe Zuadas, 24 years old, encouraged young people to continue fighting for their dreams.
On the occasion, the acting governor of Bié, José Fernando Tchatuvela, said that the province is in itself a potential source of talent in various fields.
He said that Príncipe Zuadas’ victory is a special case because the country is celebrating 50 years of Independence, considering the Unitel Estrelas ao Palco competition, promoted by the private television channel ZAP VIVA, as a great potential for discovering talent.
Jorge Antunes, ZAP’s general business director, who coordinated the delegation, was impressed by the support given to the contestant during the galas, emphasizing that it was something never seen since the contest first aired in 2002.
He highlighted the importance of the competition, which has been changing the lives of many young dreamers since its inception, emphasizing the resilience of the current winner, who had tried several times in the auditions and never managed to advance to the next stage.
Among several prizes offered, Príncipe Zuadas received a car and a contract with a music production company.
